Prayer Net
Minnesota Wisconsin Baptist Convention

Mary Krome, Disaster Relief Child Care Unit Director gives this update on her father, Gary Robinson:

My father has been running a low grade fever on and off that they are watching.  He is still in the hospital.  They thought he might go home this weekend, but they feel he is not ready.    He wants to go home of course because he has been there since last Monday.  He is used to being up and around and active.  We are now praying for healing.

Linda Yang Lee, volunteer executive director for MN-WI Hmong WMU, MN writes:

Thanks for each and everyone's prayer.  I knew our Heavenly Father heard you all crying for my healing.  And he's answering to all of us.

With the power of God's hand, I'm able to lift my left lip's and I can feel my nerve moving on my left face.  I totally believed that God is

watching over all of us and we face trial just to be closer to him.  I am so grateful for this week.  Especially, knowing that all of us are going through this together.

River Navigaters Children's Church

Parents just a reminder to please sign your children in at the check-in table downstairs before church.  Please have the kids come with you to check-in! They will be able to get their name tag and say their memory verse, also help remind them to bring their Bible.  These 3 things will help them earn points for prizes.  Children will come upstairs at the end of the service.

Family Sunday will continue to be the 4th Sunday of each month.

Memory verses to be practicing this week:

Pre-school-1st Grade:  Proverbs 3:5  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

2nd grade-6th Grade:   Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

Easter Play Updates

Greetings River Parents!

Wanted to remind you all on a couple of points about our upcoming Easter Play. The first meeting/rehearsal will be on February 7th, immediately following church, and those will go through March 24th.

Our current plan is to meet 10 minutes after the church service (sharp!), we will have about 15 minutes to go over songs for the play, 15 minutes for a lunch break and then the last hour will be devoted to rehearsing in small groups. The intention is to have everyone out of there by 2:00.

We will do our first run-through of the play in it's entirety on February 28th.

Dress rehearsals tentatively scheduled for March 21st after church and March 26th (evening) if needed.

Please, pack a lunch for your kids, we will not be providing food, and they may get hungry.

Thanks for your participation!

MWBC Prayer Net-Sagen UPDATE

Prayer Net
Minnesota Wisconsin Baptist Convention

Judith Sagan, MWBC Mission Service Corps Coordinator, writes:

Just want to share this news with all of you who have been praying for my son, Kirk, since his heart attack in 2008 and the blood infection of 2009.  This is great news...please rejoice with us!!!

From Kirk:

I went skiing, which was the first time in 2 years and since the heart attack. I have been feeling so much better since they rerouted the wire from my defib unit and decided that it was time to see if I could handle skiing. As it turns out, it was no big deal at all. I was able to ski did not get out of breath or any weird heart issues. Skiing had become my favorite winter exercises over the last 5 years and its a huge deal for me to be able to do it again and also to see how far I’ve come as far as overall health. I was pleasantly surprised that I can still handle it just fine.
