HAPPY REFORMATION DAY!!

Well October 31st is "Reformation Day"... This is when we celebrate the protestant movement to debate and remove ourselves from the Catholic church. Specifically, this is the day that Martin Luther nailed the 95 thesis to the Schlosskirche (Castle) Church door.

A big part of the debate and protest was the Catholic church attempting to make money claiming to help remove the dead from Purgatory quicker. The Reformers refuted this teaching and taught that we are saved by Christ alone, by faith alone, by His grace alone, that we trust God's word alone, and all for God's glory alone!

The Reformers also wanted the Word of God to be available to everyone, not just the priests. So because you hold a Bible today, you can say "Thank God for the Reformation!!"

So on this day, we celebrate Reformation Day! We cherish that we have one mediator between God and man - the man Christ Jesus! So celebrate with us... God is awesome and worthy of all praise & Glory!!

HAPPY REFORMATION DAY!!
