There is damage to the dining room floor, and part of the kitchen floor, they lost their dining room set (table and chairs), a hutch, and walls are damaged. The whole house was full of smoke.

I talked to Mike a few times last night. They are doing well... just trying to figure out everything right now. They will be contacting their insurance guy today. Pray that insurance takes care of it for them and it gets handled though that.
ReplyDeleteThey will be busy dealing with all of this, so I'm not sure we should bombarding their phones right now. I will post on here if they need any help and ways you can serve them.
In the mean time, here are a couple of ideas:
• Send a card with a note
• Pray for them
• Send an e-mail or comment on this blog post
• Bring them a meal (steak or lobster is fine)
• Volunteer to help with the kids if they need it
• Cash never hurts lol

ReplyDeleteTalked w/ Faith today... They are all doing very well, and praising God through this all. There is an insurance adjuster going over tomorrow to see what can be relaced, and do whatever else an insurance guy does.
