Neil Bonney - Age 84 Died on Monday 3/1/10

Hi everyone, I just wanted to pass along to the River family that my dad Neil Bonney died on Monday at the Hospice Care Center in Fitchburg.  He had only been diagnosed with cancer three weeks earlier so he went very quickly and did not suffer long… God is merciful & gracious.

His funeral will be on Saturday, 3/6/10 at the Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road in Madison.  Visitation is from 9:30 AM until the service which starts at 11:00 AM.  Lunch will be served at the funeral home after the service.

Rita and my heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who has been praying for us and for my dad through his illness.

Please Pray ...

I have a friend and sister in Christ who is in need of your prayers.  I will choose to share few details other than that her relationship with her husband is terribly broken and they are in desperate need for us to stand in the gap with them and pray.  My heart is very heavy for her, her marriage and her children.  Please pray that they experience restoration and peace.  Thanks :)    Faith

Candy donations for Easter

It's that time of year again to plan for the Easter egg hunt at River of Life. We are asking for donations for candy, and some plastic eggs. Candy should be able to fit into the plastic eggs. Donations can be brought to the church and put in the bin in the entryway until March 21st.


If you have any Questions you can contact Cindy Wajnert at 608 635-8519/or 608-332-8519.

Donations will also be distributed throughout the community to the Food Pantry, River Haven, etc., and those children who may not have otherwise received an Easter basket.
