Pray for Doug's Dad - Neil

Please be in prayer for Doug Strand's dad - Neil.  He has cancer and the doctors are saying he could pass away sometime soon.  Doug is scared because he is not positive that his Dad is truly a Christian.  

Doug is visiting with him today at 1 pm to share the gospel with him again.  Please be in prayer for Doug's dad to surrender to Christ and be saved.  Pray also for comfort and peace as he comes near the end of his life.

Can you plan the 2010 River Easter Egg hunt?

In the past we have had an Easter Egg hunt at River on Easter morning.  We need help to plan one for 2010!!!  

What we need is 1 person to organize & plan it and at least 3 more people to help out and stuff eggs, & deliver to the food pantry.

In the past the team has collected candy donations at River,  stuffed Easter eggs & hid them for the hunt at River on Easter morning.  We have also taken half of our donations and made Easter 'bags' for the food pantry.  These Easter treats went home w/anyone that came to the food pantry the week before Easter.  Another way we Love our community!

If we don't get any volunteers we will have to cancel the egg hunt for this year and try again next year.

Ewomen ticket information

You ARE still able to get the $39 price Feb.22nd-March 1st but will have to order your ticket on your own.

If you choose to attend after march 1st please know that the price goes up quite a bit. And you will have to order your ticket on your own.

If your ordering on your own and you plan on staying in the hotel w/ the group and sharing a hotel room w/ other ladies (4 to a room) please let me know by October 31st so I can add you to a room. Nov. 1st I will be canceling rooms that aren't needed.
